NOTE: Non-residents of the United States of America will need to have a student’s visa approved by U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS).

Fees

a) The STMP fees are determined based upon where each team will be going. The fees covers food, lodging, training materials, airfare expenses.

b) Willing to pay 50% of STMP fees and the balance fundraised. If I am unable to fundraise the balance, I will be responsible to pay amount outstanding.

c) On commencement of the STMP, payment of US dollars as scheduled:

As a Short Term Missions Team Member, I must live a life with standards that are taught in the Word of God. The issue is not the wrongness of a thing, but doing something we personally feel is alright that could cause another believer to stumble. Some of the things below are immoral and condemned in Scripture, while others may not be greater than some other sin, but are things that cause stumbling. Paul gave us the “law of love” regarding questionable things; 1 Corinthians 8:11-13.

As a Short Term Missions Team Member, I will to be punctual and submit to the rules set forth by First Assembly of God. It is impressed upon every team member the urgency of Salvation, the Holy Spirit, the importance of study, and the necessity of self-discipline.

1. You are NOT to participate if you live with a person as if you are married to them when you are not, even if no “sin” is being committed (1 Thess. 5:22).
2. You are NOT to participate, if you have not gained victory in manifestation over smoking, drinking, narcotics of any type, immoral sexual habits, and spouse or child abuse.
3. Your dress code should be such that it is not a distraction from your ministering the Word; such as ladies wearing low cut blouses, tight fitted tops and bottoms or attire that would give too much exposure. You should be well groomed at all times including keeping a mouth/breath freshener on your person. If you are going to have a beard or mustache, it should be well trimmed at all times.
4. If it is noticed that you exhibit unstable emotional traits according to the judgment of the leaders in charge, we have the right to refuse your request to remain in the ministry.
5. Remember, to be a participant is to be involved in ministry in the Body of Christ. Therefore, you should govern your life accordingly, with a life of holiness. Participation here at First Assembly of God is a privilege not a right, subject to the approval of those in charge.
6. You should always strive for excellence; which means you are going to minister as a professional involving commitment, time, spiritual dedication, or sometimes personal inconvenience.
7. Participants are subject to suspension or dismissal, if conduct is habitually out of line with God’s Word.

a. Compliance
I will abide by all instructions, rules and regulations stipulated by the Missions overseer of First Assembly of God and I will adhere to the entire program prepared by the Missions Leadership and will submit to the Missions overseer throughout the entire program.

In addition, I pledge to live peaceably with my Team Leader(s)/overseer and be a channel of God’s love and blessing to my fellow brothers and sisters.

In the event of any unforeseen circumstance, I pledge to adhere to the plans of my STMP overseer and First Assembly of God and all of its affiliates and they will not be held responsible for any claims or liabilities or refunds even if the trip is shortened.

b. Information Supplied:
I declare that the information provided in this form is true and complete to the best of my knowledge and that any misrepresentation or omission is sufficient grounds for discharge.

c. Agreement:
I agree to completing and complying with all or any of the requirements of the STMP for 2024, including: 7 weeks of STM Mandatory Training (Jan 28–Mar 10); Evangelism Training (Mar 30–Apr 20); Individual Team Training (weekly); Missions Conference (Feb 16–18); February/August Missions Months; Solemn Assemblies (Jan 7–14, Jun 2-9); and All Night Prayers.

If under 18 years of age parents must agree with program terms and sign below.

Parents will be required to attend meeting where STMP fees/requirements are discussed.
