Pastoral Staff

Lead Pastors Joshua and Kimberly Ko are passionate about helping people encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and step into the purpose God has for their lives. Joshua believes the local church is a place where individuals and families can find hope, healing, community, and a deeper relationship with God.

Joshua holds a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministries from Nelson University and a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from the Assemblies of God. While in college, he helped mobilize more than 50 missions teams around the world. Joshua and Kimberly are proud parents to four children—Ayva, Aiden, Alivia, and Azriel—and are committed to building a welcoming church family marked by the love, presence, and power of Jesus.

Pastor Mel is a church elder and the regional pastor of First Assembly of God Leeward. He also previously served as the corporate youth and children’s pastor.

Pastor Andrew is the regional pastor of First Assembly of God Metro. He previously served as the regional pastor for East Honolulu and as the corporate youth pastor. The grandson of former district superintendent Woodrow Yasuhara, Pastor Andrew carries on a strong legacy of preaching and ministry, with an emphasis on building authentic community and finding creative ways to minister to the next generation.

Pastor Scott is the regional pastor of First Assembly of God Central Oahu and the Oahu Regional Director for Teen Challenge USA.

Pastor Horace previously served as a Pastor’s Assistant at First Assembly of God’s Leeward and Central Oahu campuses. He is a passionate leader with an authentic local perspective on issues of life and faith, and is a living testimony of God’s power to redeem any person regardless of their past.

Pastor Raymond is the Regional Pastor of First Assembly of God East Honolulu. Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, he earned his undergraduate degree in theology from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College and later briefly attended Tyndale Seminary in Toronto before moving to Hawaii. Pastor Raymond has over 26 years of full-time ministry experience, and served in a variety of roles across different churches, including Youth Pastor, Young Adults Pastor, English Ministries Pastor, and Spiritual Development and Discipleship Pastor. In addition to ministry, he has been involved in the IT and computing field for more than 30 years. He concurrently owns and runs a computer consulting company, and is actively engaged in marketplace ministry.
