To Pastor and Sister Ko,

Congratulations on your 40th anniversary!
I want to let people know, the kind of Pastor we truly have.
It was about one year ago, when my wife had a stroke, I called the church to tell Pastor Ko about my wife and her condition. Pastor Ko said that he and Sister Ko would be there. I wasn’t sure if they would get here with the traffic, but they did, we prayed and talked, it was comforting.
We truly have a Pastor that does what he preaches and who follows the Bible teachings.
Pastor Ko, you are more than just the pastor, but a friend, someone we can talk to without feeling we are just a bother. You’re also a caring pastor, that cares what we’re going through and has put together a caring Church.
Thank you for what you do, God bless you both.

Congratulations and God’s Blessings in Abundance!

Thank you for all that you do and for the love that you share. We remember Pastor Ko dedicating our first child in 1996, supporting our family is so many ways over the years, and recently in 2020 when Sister Ko played a beautiful piano medley and later placing her hand upon my shoulder for comfort as we said goodbye to my mother. I needed that comfort and I believe it was God sent as Jesus’ love extending through her.

May God continue to use you for His purpose and Glory! We pray that many more hearts will be touched, lives will be blessed and transformed, and souls will be reached in God’s Kingdom.

Aloha and Mahalo!

My sincere and my heart full of joy by just simply knowing that I am a part of a celebration of an amazing time of your lives! Congratulations Pastor and sister Ko!!! You both took your ministries from glory to glory. I’ve been here for good 28 years, and through it all and through all those years you remained the same Pastor Ko…. a man of character and dignity. You really never changed…. you still walk the talk. Well as the saying goes, behind a successful man is a good woman… but I believe in the case of Sister Ko, is a powerful prayerful great woman. My hope and prayer for both of you is that may your latter rain be much better than the former and that in the coming years both of you will bloom, be refreshed and be even more productive and that our good Lord give you even greater measure of faith and anointing.. Thank you for being my shepherd and God speed!!🙏♥️

Thank you, Pastor and Sister Ko, for your investment into me and our family. Even though this is a large church, our children don’t just know the children and youth pastors, they know you! You both have spoken into each of our lives, and I am so blessed to see my children grow up with a passion for the Lord and a vision to reach the lost!

Dear Pastor & Sister Ko,

Congratulations on your accomplishments of reaching your 40/30/10! We are so very thankful for your heart and ministry. You have touched our family in so many ways. From your support when Stan was deployed and through the uncertainty of Covid, you were always there for us showing us love and for truly being the church family we need. Praise God for you! May the Lord bless you audaciously!

Congratulations Pastor Ko and Sis Sharon! We are so blessed to have you both leading God’s people in His vision, missions and discipleship. My heartfelt memories are, when you both came over to minister to Ron’s dad, being bed ridden and to be at the hospital when my Dad passed away. Having Pastor’s like you two, who truly loves, gives, and serve the people are a blessing. We are very blessed to have you as our Senior Pastor. May God continues to pour His favor and love upon you both.

God bless you both.
Love,
Ron and Julie Pascua

Dear Ps. & Sis. Ko,
Sis. Ko is truly God’s gift of music to you, Ps, but God has also anointed you with this special gift. During my darkest hours, your anointed singing in the middle of a sermon would bring so much comfort to my heart. Please continue singing.
Congratulations and thank you for being my loving, caring Pastors.
Love,
Marge Tam

First Assembly of God

Congratulations

Pastor Ko and Sister Ko for your faithfulness and for selflessly serving God in 40 years of ministry.

I cannot believe how time has flown by when I first started attending First Assembly of God back in 1992. Back then Pastor Ko & Sister Ko under the Leadership of Pastor Sapp lead the young adults ministry called Island Christian Singles. In the mid 90’s I invited my friend and co-worker Dora whom had just moved to Hawaii from the Philippines to First Assembly of God. My friend Dora that I had invited to church back in 1995 is now my best friend and the one I call my wife.

Pastor Ko and Sister Ko thank you for fulfilling God’s calling on your lives. Because of your love, sacrifice, and dedication to God you have not only touched lives here in Hawaii and the US, but you have also touched lives across other nations.

Thank you for your prayers for the church body and us included. Sister Ko, thank you for visiting me (Dora) at home after my surgery and for praying for me while I was recovering. Your love, support, and prayers helped me during this challenging time in my life.

Because of your love for God you have discipled, encouraged, and guided the church body to get out our comfort zone and to get involved in church. Dora and I were one of those that would come faithfully every Sunday but not get involved in church . With your continued love, compassion, and support towards us, you never gave up on us. With the grace of God we finally decided to get out of our comfort zone and to get involved in different parts of the church at First Assembly of God for the Glory of God.

Through the years, under the Leadership of Pastor Ko and Sister Ko we were able to get out our comfort zone and participated in ICS (Island Christian Singles), CDT (Christian Discipleship Training), FAOG men’s basketball, FAOG women’s softball, Men’s and Women’s Encounters, Net Group/Connect Group, Convoy of Hope, The Singing Christmas Tree, Hallelujah Night, many other productions, community services, and activities. We remember when Sister Ko kept on finding Dora and myself to see if we got involved in any ministry yet. It’s because of Sister Ko’s love and encouragement we finally decided volunteer and join the greeting ministry which we have been a apart of for about 16 years now.

If it wasn’t for Pastor Ko and Sister Ko, we wouldn’t have been challenged to get out of our comfort zone and to follow God’s calling for our lives. Pastor Ko and Sister Ko ❤️ God Bless both of you, your families, and your ministry. May he continue to protect you, provide for you, and guide you in all of the days if your life until Jesus returns. Thank you for being there for us and our family. We love you both from Jarrett and Dora Tambalo, and the Tambalo Ohana.

On behalf of the greeting ministry, thank you for your love, support, guidance, and leadership. We love you and we will continue to pray for all of God’s blessings to pour out on you, your family, and your ministry.
