ASSEMBLIES OF GOD WORLD MISSIONS
Randy Hurst is a Missionary Evangelist who serves as the Advancement Director for Assemblies of God World Missions.
He and his wife, Ruth, served as resident missionaries in the Samoan Islands in the South Pacific for four years. They traveled in missionary- evangelism for fourteen years throughout the Asia Pacific region, Latin America and Europe prior to Randy serving as AGWM Communications Director from 1997 to 2016. Randy continues to minister as a missionary- evangelist, having preached in more than 90 countries.
AOMORI CHRIST CHURCH, AOMORI, JAPAN
Pastor Shibuya was a pioneer in church planting in Northern Japan. In 1992, he planted the Aomori Christ Church and he is the current Senior Pastor. Pastor Shibuya is the Japan Assemblies of God Executive Presbyter, Missions Director, Tohoku/Tokai District overseer, Tohoku Restoration Director and also sits on the Board of the Japan AG Central Bible College.
In 2005 he launched the Family Recovery Center, where people come for counseling and healing with problems in their marriages, raising children, abusive relationships. His desire is to see the power of the Holy Spirit move in Japan and for multitudes to come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
LIGHTHOUSE CHURCH, NAVAN, IRELAND
Jamie Corcoran is Lead Pastor of Lighthouse Church. He is passionate about inspiring people and the local church developing into its fullest potential and to inspiring leaders and planting new churches. He serves on the national lead team for the AG in Ireland and the lead team for the ARC Ireland.
He is married to the love of his life and his amazing wife, Ludmila, and together they have three wild boys: Joshua, Davi & Isaiah.
AMAZING GRACE CENTER, KAMAISHI, JAPAN
Keizo was studying Buddhism and Shintoism in University to become a Shinto Priest, until he met a Gideonite team from First Assembly of God in 2000. He accepted Christ six years later at the Osaka Bible Church; and was water baptized. He became a worship leader at the church. In 2011 God called him to full-time ministry to lead a Gideonite team to Kamaishi. He is part of the new generation of pastors and missionaries that God is raising to reach Japan.
Keizo is married to Mami, who is also dedicated to serving Kamaishi, a region that was once devastated by the Tsunami. They continue to preach the good news to those who are hurting and have lost hope.
KIRIGAOKA CHRIST CHURCH JAPAN
Sayaka had a calling from God at a very young age but she walked away from God when she was in high school. Her parents sent her to the U.S. to finish high school and God brought her back to faith. After graduating from Lancaster Bible College in Pennsylvania, she returned to Tokyo following God’s call to serve the Japanese people, especially the youth. Sayaka has been teaching English as a tool to share the love of God to the Japanese. She served as Youth Leader at one of the biggest international churches in Japan for five years; until God called her to serve at the Kirigaoka Christ Church. Her passion is to reach the youth of Japan who are struggling and searching for God’s love just like she once was.
OSAKA BIBLE CHURCH
Raised in a traditional Japanese family, Pastor Miyashita joined the church at 16 years old and was baptized at 17. Born again and called to serve at 19. At 23 he was baptized in the Holy Spirit. He’s a former local government employee. Graduated from Portland Bible College in 1991. He joined Victory Family Centre in Singapore and was sent to Takatsuki with his wife to pioneer the church. Later, he was sent to Osaka to lead a Gideonite team from First Assembly of God in 2000. They planted “Aloha Assembly Osaka Bible Church.” His wife Takako is also a pastor; they have two sons, Sho and Kei.
