First Assembly of God Leeward meets in Makakilo Elementary School, in the sunny hills above Makakilo town. At Leeward regional center, families are the main vessel through which Christ’s love is spread through the community. Pastor Robert Tokunaga, who oversees the Leeward region, has reported that membership participation is the driving force behind the rapid growth of their ministry.
Leeward regional center members are encouraged to view others through eyes of faith, encouraging people and loving them unconditionally. “When you serve together, you grow,” Pastor Robert says. Leeward regional members minister to the community through outreaches in the Kapolei area, and there are youth, young adult and evangelistic ministries happening throughout the week (check our calendar for times and locations). The diverse personalities of Leeward’s church members work together to bring people to Christ.
Pastor Robert emphasizes that every soul is precious, and follows a policy of “Nobody Left Behind.” God is moving at the Leeward region, so don’t get left behind — come visit us this Sunday!
