First Assembly of God East Honolulu meets in Koko Head Elementary School, across the road from Koko Marina Shopping Center in Hawaii Kai. God has been performing many miracles here! Like the church in the book of Acts, East Honolulu’s members support each other in various ways, and the love of God is contagious here.
Volunteerism and corporate involvement are very important to the congregation at East Honolulu. Church members are regularly engaged in community outreaches and are also very active in church-wide events such as Hallelujah Night and the Singing Christmas Tree, held annually at Red Hill. “East Honolulu prides itself in getting involved in every corporate event in spite of our small size,” says Pastor Andrew. “At any corporate event East Honolulu always has an equal number of volunteers.”
East Honolulu is still expanding to meet the needs of the communities surrounding Hawaii Kai. Ministry opportunities are increasing, and members take advantage of everything from door-to-door outreaches and potlucks to spread God’s love to people in the community. If you’re interested in joining a small, but growing and energetic church, East Honolulu is the place for you!
