Visitors & Guests
Aloha, and welcome to First Assembly of God. On this page you’ll learn useful information that will to help you get familiarized with our church before your first visit.
What can I expect during my first visit?
First Assembly of God is an accepting, respectful and encouraging multi-cultural community of people. We are drawn together by a mutual love for God, family, people and Biblical values. On your first visit, you will be greeted by our congregation with a small gift and a Visitor’s Information Packet. Inside of the packet you’ll find useful information about our church, vision, core values and ministries. After the service, our pastors would like to get to know you over some light refreshments.
Do you have anything for my kids? What about teens and young adults?
Nursery care, preschool classes and children’s church are avaiable during services at our main location in Red Hill. Limited child care is also available at our other locations.
We have a vibrant and growing youth and young adults ministry. Youth and young adult classes meet every Sunday at 10:15 am. Youth meet for services Friday nights at 7:00 pm, and young adults meet every third Saturday of the month at 7:00 pm.
How can I get connected within the church?
Whether you want to serve in ministry or just fellowship with other people, our church hosts a wide variety of ministries, classes and programs for children, youth, adults and seniors. The best way to start getting connected is to visit our Connections Hub online, the Connections Station at Red Hill, or the Resource Center at one of our regional centers. If missions is your calling, our Gideonite program trains and sends missionaries to countries around the world.
What denomination are you a part of?
We are a member of the World Assemblies of God fellowship, the largest Pentecostal Christian denomination in the world. With over 300,000 churches in over 110 countries and approximately 57 to 60 million members worldwide, it is the fourth largest international body of Christians.
